Dropship Company Requirements: 4 Things You Must Demand to Start Your Business Right

Partnering with a dropship company can skyrocket your income. It can make you the money to be a stay at home mom, to get out of debt permanently, or even walk away from your daily commute forever. But you need to be sure to get off on the right foot to ensure your success. Here are a few things to make sure your dropshipper will offer.
1. They must have quality merchandise. You won't make a fortune by selling plastic crap that falls apart two days after you get it. Do some research on the quality of the products they will be offering you to sell.
3. Make sure they will handle the customer service on the shipping end. Your job is to keep in contact with the customer before the sale, and they make sure the shipping goes according to plan.
4. Make sure they will be flexible on your customer service guidelines. For example, if you want to authorize the company to handle upset customers on their own, you can tell them they have the right to make the customer happy up to a certain dollar amount. Whether that means shipping an additional widget, or reimbursing them for shipping, make sure the dropship company is flexible in this area.

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)Kate, never knew anything about a 'dropship' company; maybe I did, but didn't know that was what it was titled. On any account, great article ... is a "Welcome to Searchwarp" fitting?
Good advice. I've heard a lot about drop shipping companies and selling on eBay, it seems you really have to be careful.
Great tips about what to consider when working with a dropship business.
